“Dans les rues du Marais”. While walking through Le Marais in Paris during fashion week, I stumbled upon an old black storefront with rich red curtains inside. Just five seconds later, a bold woman dressed in black passed by, and I instinctively pressed the shutter. I knew instantly — it was going to be a great shot. A few days later, I took Riccarda and Selma for a stroll around Marais, and I was still mesmerized by that stunning backdrop. Red and black will always be my favorite color combination — dark, warm, mystical, sensual, and bold. It’s everything I love.
